CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS
FOR THE 2011 FOOTBALL & COMPETITION SQUADS

were held on April 17th.
If you missed tryouts, there are still spots available on our team.
Contact the coach for more info.

We are a Division III team from Central Mass and cheer for all home football and home basketball games. The team also appears at various events as requested by the university.
The team competed for the first time in history in 2010, making our debut as a small coed team.  Although our goal was to get on the floor and establish a presence in the college competition arena, hard work by all team members certainly paid off.  The team attended 5 competitions, increasing their score and difficulty each competition and establishing a solid foundation for the future.

We invite both male and female athletes.  If you are interested in learning more about our program, please feel free to speak to one of our captains or any current team member or to drop an email to the coach.

Although there are no tumbling requirements to cheer for the "game squad," a minimum of a standing back handspring and a running ro bhs tuck is preferred for the competition squad.  Exceptions will be made for those who excel in other areas.

“Don't wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”
~ Mark Victor Hansen
